Where good things happen...

After playing golf for 15 years it was a round this year at Remington Golf Club in Kissimmee Florida where I finally beat my Dad for the first time ever. Yes, it was only by 1 stroke and yes… it was his first round of the season and I play all year round. BUT a win is a win.

$35 after 2pm! This course is easily worth twice that amount. 7,111 yards from the tips this par 72 championship course is a challenge. There are 5 sets of tees so that you can tailor the test to your abilities. (I play from the whites…boo!)

There’s a lot of risk and reward golfing here. Go for it? Or play smart? There are many holes where water comes into play so you’ll be making this decision all day. The course is really wrapped around a lake making it scenic and difficult. The round I bested my old man I decided to go for it on every hole and it worked out for me...

Now if you really have some energy… They have an “All-You-Can-Play” option. Better yet, it’s not just golf that’s included its “All-You-Can-Practice” and “All-You-Can-Eat”. And the food actually is not bad (normal bar stuff).

Practice, golf, eat, golf, practice, eat (you get the picture) – This is a fantastic why to spend an entire day!

The course was nominated Best New course in 1996 by Golf Digest magazine. It’s only gotten better since then.
