Kissimmee Things to Do – Life after Disney!There are plenty of Kissimmee things to do other than Disney. Don’t get me wrong - Disney is great. (Check out the Disney areas at T2K) But there comes a point that if you see another smiling rodent you’ll just lose it! (Sorry Mickey) Here’s a selection of a few of my favorite Kissimmee things to do after I’m “moused-out” Bass fishing in Kissimmee is some of the best in all of the United States. Whether you’re really serious about the sport or are just looking to have a relaxing afternoon on the water – Central Florida bass fishing provide a top notch experience. Have a look some of my favorite spots and techniques to land the big one. Get in touch with nature and have a little thrill at the same time. Have a close encounter with a Florida gator and check out the rest of the wildlife. Kissimmee Airboat rides are great way to spend an afternoon with the family. At first I was a little worried about safety of this type of tour but after seeing the precautions taken I was comfortable. How about a little culture and history? Experience Kissimmee Old Town. The way it used to be in the good ‘ol days. Great dining, shopping and fun for the kids. Best of all… admission is free! A much needed break after $100+ days at Disney. But there are still plenty of ways to spend money here… Ever wish you could soar like a bird? Well here’s your chance. Get above it all in a Kissimmee Hot air balloon tour. You’ll get a new perspective on the full development and sprawl that is Central Florida. This is worth doing at least once, we enjoyed it – but once you’ve done it once that’s probably enough. There is always something going on at the Osceola Heritage Park. This is a complex right in Kissimmee that hosts various events such as rodeos, basketball games and conventions. Have look to see what’s going on at OHP while you’re in town – you might find something interesting. There’s lots of Kissimmee things to do – Have look at the events calendar.
