Best of Kissimmee Vacation homes in Terra Verde
Well, when it comes to Kissimmee vacation homes you won’t be able to accuse me of not putting my money where my mouth is.
If you’ve read the Hotel? section of T2K you’ll see that in my experience traveling to Florida and renting Kissimmee vacation villas is much better than staying in hotels or motels.
We thought that since we liked Disney so much why don’t we buy a Kissimmee vacation home? We took lessons from all of our Florida tourist experiences and selected a villa that had all the best qualities in a great resort community – Terra Verde.
Unfortunately we can’t stay in our Kissimmee vacation home all year long (that’s why it’s still our vacation home…and not our home) but...

Here’s what we enjoy about the villa… Here’s a typical couple of days…
Freedom to do your own cooking in the fully equipped kitchen
Wake up in the morning and you’re looking of quick start to the day, you’re already sick of restaurants. So you cook pancakes and eggs in the in the beautifully modern kitchen with full stainless steal appliances and breakfast bar. (and save some money at the same time!) Next you’re off to “do Disney” with the kids…you're only minutes away!
Relax in the private pool and spa after a day with Mickey
After a long, long day at Disney you are happy to be back in the vacation home and need to relax. You head to the private backyard that backs onto a conservation area. You jump into the private pool and turn on the jets and relax in the spa. The kids argue about who the ‘bestest’ Disney princess is…Snow White or Sleeping Beauty…all you hear are the chirping of the birds and you watch as the day turns to dusk.
Enjoy great entertainment with the latest electronics
Now that you’re relaxed you head back inside to the living area and turn on the massive 50” plasma TV. You want to watch the Orlando Magic game but the kids want to watch Snow White… fine, you all stretch on the couch and enjoy some family time together.
Privacy and space of 4 unique bedrooms
After the movie you and your partner figure you’d like some private “alone time”. The kids decide to play pool in the games room and you turn in to the main master bedroom with a private ensuite and walk-in closet. With 4 bedrooms in total and with 2 master bedrooms with ensuites, everyone is very comfortable when they go to sleep. The kids stay up late watching the flat screen LCD TVs that are in each of the bedrooms. You can’t win ‘em all!
Hang out right at the Terra Verde Resort
You wake up the next morning and decide you’ve had enough of the parks. You decide today to take advantage of the amenities right here at the T2K villa in the Terra Verde Resort. You have a massage, go to the hot tub, exercise in the fitness center and lounge by the pool and have a drink at the tiki bar. The kids play basketball and beach volley ball, use the playground, play in the arcade, surf the net and go fishing in the 3 acre stocked lake.
It’s a busy day and you haven’t gone anywhere!
